Of course, some people will complain it was done too late, some people
will complain it was done too early! Not everyone can be  happy at the
same time :D

But anyway, the vlc.git is reopen for actual development, as 3.0 has not
many bugs left...

Please try to avoid pushing broken/incomplete things, and use
feature-branches if needed!

Target feature freeze is early September 2018. You were warned!
