This is a kind of edit list, and we want that in VLC, in the future.

There are many use-cases to do that.

However the current formats to do that are either to simple (mpv ones) or way-way-way too complex and mistake themselves with timed-text-information.

It's a very good idea, but is a LARGE amount of work, in order to do a sane format.
