Also in the section 'Get the third-party libraries', in 'The preferred

What to do for this ?
As an alternative I am compiling using 'The Contrib Method'.
I was getting errors. Finally I was able to successfully compile it using
    $./compile --disable-upnp --enable-chromaprint=no
    $make
I am able to play videos.
I wanted to know what this means.
    [0000000001616980] main interface error: no suitable interface module
    [00000000015544d0] main libvlc error: interface "globalhotkeys,none"
initialization failed
