That does not sound right, TBH. The timing should always be extrapolated by TimeGet. The packet size does not intrinsically limit the precision of timing. Some HALs extrapolate internally so VLC does not need to. Some do not, and some give you the choice (PulseAudio). -- Remi Denis-Courmont
