I don't see this as urgent as it is a case of the user shooting him-/herself, 
so long as VLC is not setuid root. And if you are after the unbound VA 
warning, the bug also affects the VLC binaries.

I plan to rewrite that API so we can separate parsing CL from instantiation, 
and parse CL multiple times anyway.
