You fixed the symptom rather than the cause.

search.h is detected during configure. So either it's not there and 
there's not point of using it. Or it is there and maybe the detection 
fails. In either case pretending it's there because it is on your system 
and not detected is hardly a correct fix.

Also reverting code without asking the author first is a violation of 
the Code of Conduct.
