I'm aware that JBK has asked that this thread be stopped, and after
this I'll be done with it; just one minor point...

To be truly fair to Remi on the revert point that has been raised
(because I care about fairness in general), I did happen to point out
myself the day after he reported the issue that the last 2 or 3 patches
merged of mine needed to be removed, so he did actually have my consent
to do so. :)
