Hi,
The two patches were made on 3.0 because this is where I had the issues. I wrote that in the cover letter:
> This patchset fixes those issues in the vlc-3 branch.

Maybe I should have written that in the commit message?

The first patch about precision probably applies to the 4 branch, but I have to admit that I didn't test there.

After an update it seems that it *is* in the 3.0 branch.

You should send patches to apply on the master (4.0) and they will be backported to 3.0 if possible. Or you have to specify it's for 3.0 if the bug only exists in 3.0.
