[vlc-devel] [PATCH 1/5] contrib: lua: autodetect lua >= 5.1

Adding 5.1 support might be OK. But AFAIK we do not support Lua 5.3, for 
some 32 bits support compatibility issues. Your patch means we won't be 
Lua 5.2 if Lua 5.3 is found for Windows or Mac on the build machine. I 
don't think we want that.
