Okay, then my review to this patchset is -1 due to lack of deprecation
notices about VLM schedules in 3.0's code, lack of release notes
documenting rationales for removal and alternatives, and lack of prior
consensus on the broader, and already ongoing topic since VoD's removal,
of the future of VLM and multiple-input management.

I agree with this idea, but I disagree that we can or should consider
that nobody tries to use that feature.
