All of that because you refuse to add a trivial patch, and mandate a compiler that is less than 1.5 year old.

This is a trivial patch to add without any impact on modern compilers.

You decided unilaterally to force a compiler that is not even 1.5 year old, in contradiction to everything that we've ever done on this project.

And you still argue about it, around 45 mails later, that it is the right way, when everyone else disagrees.
It's useless to discuss further, the only thing that will happen is more and more of the same arguments.

This will therefore end with a TC vote, or worse, if required.
