[vlc-devel] 3.0.12 tagging

Hi David,

The hole point of posting in this thread was to open the
conversation to the addition of these modules and thus
expand the scope of the deployment of 3.0.12. These modules
have been tried and tested for over a year on the main
branch and are of negligible or no risk to the stability of
the build ... They are very much needed to allow VLC to be
used as the source for remote video broadcasts in these
pandemic times.

If there is no room for change on 3.0.12, then by all means
I will move this to a new thread. Please let me know if
that is the case.

Hi Sergio,
I do not think a macOS only bugfix release is the
appropriate place to include a new module…
I hope for your understanding here.

If you want to include that in the 3.x branch, you should
probably send those patches to the ML to be discussed.
