That sounds a bit hasty. While replying to Rémi I figured out more
aspects of this - and that's great, that's why we discuss things, it
makes matter progress. I hadn't realized how much stream_ReadLine() was
broken, and saw more ways that lua script developers creatively read web
resources.

Besides at this point it's not clear what the compromise is really
about.
