Which supports it being a good idea to not have made a patch to purge
the warnings for options v3.0 disabled.
Users still on v2.2 and those on v3.0 have had a long time to get used
to the loss of options v2.2 took away, and so in v4.0 surely no longer
need to be warned about those, which is what the 'v2.2' ('purge
obsolete options removed in v2.2') patch does.
Only the hypothetical 'v3.0' ('purge obsolete options removed in v3.0')
patch that I did not craft purges the ones the v3.0 release disabled,
which we can agree we're not ready for.
