[vlc-devel] The git master version of vlc failed to play <https://test-streams.mux.dev/x36xhzz/x36xhzz.m3u8>

On Ubuntu 20.04, I successfully compiled and installed the git master
version of vlc with the following steps:

$ git clone https://github.com/videolan/vlc.git videolan/vlc.git
$ cd videolan/vlc.git/
$ sudo apt-get build-dep vlc
$ sudo apt install -y qtdeclarative5-dev qtquickcontrols2-5-dev
qml-module-qtquick-controls2
$ ./bootstrap
$ ./configure
$ make -j44
$ sudo make -j44 install

$ cvlc --version
VLC media player 4.0.0-dev Otto Chriek (revision 4.0.0-dev-14728-g63a50f5439)
VLC version 4.0.0-dev Otto Chriek (4.0.0-dev-14728-g63a50f5439)

Then I try to test the hls.js demo located at
<https://hls-js.netlify.app/demo/> but failed as shown below:
