I was going to post to the user list, but based on the messages in vlc
Archives <https://mailman.videolan.org/pipermail/vlc/>, the recent
updating time is
April 2015. So I think that the mailing list for VLC users is
abandoned for a long time. To be frank, I can't find the appropriate
list for posting this issue from the ones listed on
<https://www.videolan.org/support/lists.html>, except this one. I'm
very sorry for misusing on this list.

Any hints for directing me to the appropriate user list for VLC will
be highly appreciated.
