[vlc-devel] [Announcement] Trac bug tracker migrated to GitLab

Hi,
as already announced a while ago, we now migrated the
Trac bug tracker to the VideoLAN GitLab instance on
code.videolan.org.

If you already have a GitLab account with the same
email as on Trac, tickets should have been migrated
with you as author.

If you did not have a GitLab account before, an
account matching the username of your account on
Trac was created on GitLab for you and you can
login to it by resetting the password on
https://code.videolan.org/users/password/new
(It will be sent to the email address your Trac
account used)

The new bug tracker for VLC can now be found on:

https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/-/issues/

Of course especially regarding the labels nothing
is set in stone and there is room for improvement,
this is just a nearly 1:1 migration from what we
had on Trac.

For the time being, Trac is still running but
read-only and there is a banner above every ticket
linking to the ticket on GitLab.
