Not really, no. I did not understand the Gitlab thread and thread resolution 
mechanism.

This was yet another unfortunate consequence of the lack of documentation for 
the Gitlab migration (in comparison to the previous two VCS migrations), 
presumably from the incorrect assumption that everybody knew how to use Gitlab 
MR. This has already been argued to death, and is too late to fix.
