If you check the videolan CoC (https://wiki.videolan.org/Code_of_Conduct/) you
notice the 2nd points being 'be careful with direct criticism'.
I think you crossed that with your initial comment already.

You can give feedback in so many ways that can be way more constructive,
even if it may be frustrating.
