[vlc-devel] Bug: VLC 3.0.20 screen blinking issue on AMD 7000 + RTX 4050

Hi VLC Team,

I'm experiencing screen blinking issues when using VLC 3.0.20 on my
G-Sync-enabled laptop.

System specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7000 series
- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4050 (laptop)
- OS: Windows 11
- G-Sync enabled

Issue:
VLC 3.0.20 flickers or blinks when pausing media, minimizing, or switching
windows. It doesn’t happen in VLC 3.0.6.

Workaround:
Launching VLC with `--avcodec-hw=none --vout=opengl` helps. Disabling
hardware acceleration also helps.

Can this be investigated?
