   Well, this is a reported bug, I don't know why, but vlc does not read
streams from stdin. It'll be worked on, but on Monday and on Thursday
almost all the videolan team members have two important exams, and
several other duties -- you'll have to wait at least until Friday.

   You can try to store a part of the decrypted stream in a file and
read it with vlc afterwards ; it's not a solution, but at least you'll
see if the player works.
