I have downloaded / installed vlc and css-auth and am getting close.
When I run the following:

reset /dev/cdrom
<< create the title#-key and disk-key files here >>
cat /mnt/cdrom/video_ts/vts_01_[1-9].vob | css-cat -v1P - | vlc -

I get

Using Key 2

I then get a black window w/ "waiting for stream...." and there it ends.

Any ideas?

TIA,
Craig
