Fixed segfault problem with DVD in 0.2.70

Oh, until the release at the end of this week, if you don't know how to do CVS
checkouts and just cannot wait until nightly build, here is the tgz of what
worked for me:

It's 1.3MB because I didn't do a 'make distclean' -- if you're running
Mandrake 8.0beta, you should just be able to detar then run 'vlc'. Otherwise,
follow INSTALL instructions.

I configured it thusly:

./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-gnome \
> --with-sdl --enable-esd \
> --enable-alsa --enable-mga --enable-gtk  --enable-xvideo

Naturally, if this doesn't work for you, don't go bothering people on this
list about it. Wait until the end of this week for the real release.
