vlc and vlms

Hi,

I am trying to use vlc with vlms (streaming).
But I am having problems with the new version of vlc (0.2.72, 0.2.71, ...)
I just only get success with the version 0.1.99i

I'd like to know if there is some problem with these new versions,
or if I am have problem with the software configuration.
