client/server scenario

No, it doesn't work!
when i click play, the input is :
input:playing at normal rate;
but it plays nothing. 

my system is linux 2.2 with RedHat 6.2.

I wonder that i don't have the last version of the server.
I don't make an cvs for that, i only downloaded it from the the web.
It's the mini server vlms 0.1.99h; is it ok to make multicast streaming?
