VLC 2.82 on RH 7.2

I tried both.  Forgot to mention that too.  I tried the 2.81 RPM for 
7.x, and had the same problem.  Then I compiled 2.82 from sources.  
No video, just blue.  It's a lovely shade of blue though...

And yes, it did seem to detect SDL and xvideo just fine.  But it's 
still blue.  :(

It runs at roughly normal speed if I leave it windowed, but runs
really choppy in full-screen mode.
