VLC on Sony Vaio

Hi,

I'd like to report a bug.

I downloaded the latest VLC from videolan.org, that is 0.2.80 in order to
play DVDs from my Sony Vaio notebook. The code (source version) compiles
without complaints, starting vlc works fine, too.
Now I select "disc", choose my device and select "ok". 
I can hear the disc being spinned around and the led on the drive is
flashing, i.e. the disc is read. Just a few seconds after that, vlc
segfaults.
