  Has anyone taken a look at Ogle ?

  -> It claims to be the first DVD player for Linux/Solaris that supports menus and navigation. Maybe there's code to use there for VLC ?

  Feature Request: in case navigation is implemented in VLC, PLEASE MAKE IT OPTIONAL: there should be an options in the preferences menu do enable/disable navigation. Most of the time I enjoy just putting a DVD in the drive and just watch the movie right away, without going through 3 screens of copyright, a menu, a few clicks, no to mention DVDs that now check the Zone of the player and refuse to play !
