A few problems with 0.2.73

Arnaud,

I have the same configuration you mentioned in your first post on this 
topic. I downloaded your patch but I am unfamiliar with applying diffs. 
Could I trouble you for the command to do this? My source directory for 
0.2.73 is /usr/local/src.
