SleepyCat DB requirement nightmare!

I faked this one by using a symlink to libdb-3.1.so.3 from the redhat 7.1
db3 rpm, thus
ln -s libdb-3.1.so.3 libdb3.so.3

vlc does not seem to mind ;-) Also if you do a recompile from the vlc source
package it doesnot seem to need the db package ;-) go figure? Any way I did
not investigate further.
