Why vlc always crashed on my system.

	Just a followup. I rebuilt vlc using --enable-debug (along with all
the other configure parameters used in the RPMs), and ran the
resulting executable. It did not crash, but instead made a screeching
noise instead of playing the soundtrack of the DVD. The video looked OK.
