vlc 0.2.90 and suse 7.3

Hi all,

at first a big Thanx to the developers for this great pice of
software!

It works under SuSE 7.2 very well without any problem.

But under SuSE 7.3 I have some trouble.

./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-gnome --with-sdl
works without errors, but I have troubles with "make vlc"

/usr/i486-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lesd
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [../gnome.so] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/mg/VLC/vlc-0.2.90/plugins/gtk'
make: *** [plugins/gnome.so] Error 2

Any suggestion?
