Not able to catch a network stream using VLC

Hi,
Thanks a lot for the reply.
I have tried with the stream downloaded from here. The VLC client plays this
stream normally from the hard disk but not able to play when passed as a
network stream.
Is there some way I can monitor whether the mini server is really streaming
the mpeg sample.
