vlc will start, but after a few seconds it segfaults. I'm running Mandrake 8.0 off of an AMD Athlon 1.1 GHz CPU. In order to install the program I grabbed libSDL, libXv, libXxf86dga, and libasound off of rpmfind.net. All the rpms came from the Mandrake Cooker, so I am unsure regarding stability. I am running linux kernel 2.4.3. Thanks for any help! Douglas Murata
