no suitable demux plug-in?

Hi, I tried out the new version of vlc in Mac OS X, but now I cannot play
any of my dvd or svcd mpeg files. I also get a similar error when I try
opening the same movies under Yellow Dog Linux for PPC, so maybe I'm just
forgeting something obvious. Below is what I get when I try to open (under
Mac OS X) an svcd mpeg file which worked in the previous release. Thanks for
the help!
