[BUG] vlc TS from network under w2000

We tried vlc under W2000 together with the GTK user interface. It works 
ok when playing a file. However receiving TS from the network does not 
seem to work at all.

I see that vlc receives some packets, because it is able to show the 
program table. However it does not display any video or play any audio, 
when selecting the right program.

Is this a known issue? Or should I try some optione?
