xine-ui-0.9.13 make error

Red Hat Linux 7.2
Kernel 2.4.18
bash 2.05.8
Sony PCG-GRX560 laptop

Scenario;
I can 'configure'  'make'  'make all install' 
XINE-LIB-0.9.13  with no problems.  

I then issue;
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

I can then successfully 'configure' XINE-UI-0.9.13.

However, when I issue 'make' I receive the following
errors (Sorry for length!):

I downloaded the xine archives from the XINE
sourceforge site.
