I think the "No accelerated IMDCT transform found" will go away if you make
a52dec with the --enable-djbfft option. I did this on Slackware 8.1, had to
make first djbfft with the installation directory as /usr/local. NOT the
default of /usr/local/djbfft.

Note this option is not enabled on the BeOS version, so I assume it's not
considered absolutely necessary. But I think it improved performance - I was
getting a lockup in Austin Power's Goldfinger at about 32 seconds, after
numerous tweaks and recompiles (including enabling djbfft) I got it to run
for a little over a minute (the last time before determining the real
problem).

It turned out in the end that my lockup problem was fixed by going to
Preferences/Miscellaneous, selecting the "DVD input module, uses libdvdcss",
choosing "Configure", then setting it to use "title" for decription - as has
been mentioned previously this month on the mail list.
