[vlc] DVB MPEG2 TS doesn't work with vlc

I captured whole MPEG2 TS to file using dvbstream and tried to open it with 
vlc, but get only black screen, garbled sound and lot of errors in the log 
with every PID. Should this work, or am I wasting my time?

I have Hauppauge WinTV Nova-t, and I'm using latest DVB drivers from the CVS 
with kernel 2.4.20, and otherwise the card is working fine.
