AH, but they can be assimilated - we'll make is
a simpler regedt32 format... ;-)

Presumably only hard-core glossy-eyed computer types
would ever edit the XML .ini directly, and the clever
VLC front end would hand the user the pre-processed
friendly-looking form...

Anyway, I also mentioned the cross-platform standard
ini parser at sourceforge if someone wants to go that way.
