I think you'll have trouble with this, as Mac OS X does >not< support CDROM-XA
which is the format used by VCD, SVCD, and XVCD. This is a major irritation
for many Mac users who have upgraded to OS X. OS 9 had support for CDROM-XA.
It's anybody's guess as to why Apple dropped the ball on this.
