Color distortion with AVI (DivX) files

Hi,
once more a great piece of work. In particular,
the new deinterlacing routines are great.
Suggestion: Would it be possible to get vlc to
report possible values for arguments for certain
switches (such as --deinterlace-mode mode) when
using a question mark or something like this, such
that "--deinterlace-mode ?" would give me the
names of the supported modes?
Since vlc 0.4.0 you support playing AVI DivX
files - great! However, I found that there are certain
files (e.g. a trailer for the movie Apollo 13 which I
found on the web a long time ago) which does not
play properly. The colors get distorted from time to
time, most of the colors get green-ish. After a change
of scene, colors are back to normal for a while. This
does not happen, when I play the same file with
aviplay. Maybe, it is a very simple bug in the code
which creates the color maps?
Keep up this incredible good work!
Michael
