vlc

Thanks for this great app. It's able to open every stream I tryed. There is 
only one strange bug, wich I can't understand. Maybe there is somebody out 
there holding the right answer!!!

When I'm going to start vlc, latest build, it works fine on my TiBook 550, 
OS 10.1.5. But when I'm going to close vlc and than try to open another 
application - for example iE, Omniweb, works etc. - nothing starts up exept 
vlc????? I'm not able to use any other application on my OS 10.1.5 unless I 
deinstall vlc?????? Even if I through it to the trash, the only app. starts 
up is vlc. So I realy meen, I have to deinstall the hole vlc application and 
than everything works fine  again???!!!!
I would realy appreciate if there would be someone to tell me what's 
happening and how I could solve this bug. Am I the only one with this tought 
of trouble???
