It does NOT work here, as I've shown you all. What can be wrong with my 
installation when my own client (the C code) can read the stream as easy as 
anything, and bloody VLC can't?

My PC (as used as server) does in fact have two NICs, but I've tried to 
disable one - then re-enabling that and disabling the other - to check if 
there was a problem. The Windoze client tested does not have multiple NICs.

Please help me on this.
