Late Picture Skipped error

[Kanchan Ranade]

 Is there any way I can ask VLC to compromise with say 25fps or 20 fps(NTSC). Where are these settings in the code?

VLC expects 25 frames per second (or something alike), and will date
frames accordingly. If you remove pictures, you should probably change
the frame rate code.
