Slackware + vlc + gnome [débutant]

1/J'essaye désespérement de compiler vlc avec gnome/gtk mais ca ne fonctionne pas? Que puis je faire ?

configure: error: Can't find gnome headers. Please install the gnome
developement librairie or remove the --enable-gnome option

/opt/gnome/bin/gnome-config

2/ Il y aura t il un paquetage comme pour debian ?
