VideoLAN Client 0.3.1 --enable-kde

I did not installed KDE 2.0 and upgraded to 3.0.
I installed directly KDE 3.0

I have installed on my system gnome and gnome-devels.
But, when I do :
     ./configure --enable-esd --enable-gnome --enable-kde
     make

I still got a lot of error messages saying
         "invalid use of undefined type 'class KStatusBar'"
 and then
         [Kde_interface.lo.kde] Error 1

any clue ?
