I've been putzing with the XCard, but I have an NS2k as well--just haven't tried it yet.  What I'm finding is that vlc doesn't use the same sort of hooks that Sigma is using (for say the XPlayer or Windows Media Player).

I'm just beginning to scratch the surface in terms of what the issues are, and how best to approach them . . .  So the short answer is probably not at this time--but roll up your sleeves and pitch in . . .
