2byte characters

VLC is looking great by the minute.

One think I would really like you to incorporate...it's the ability to 
recognize files with 2 byte characters (such as Japanese and Korean) for 
their names. Currently, perfectly valid files that would play if renamed 
properly will fail to be recognized by VLC if they have Japanese 
characters in their names. This is in OSX 10.1.4.
