VLC Client 0.4.0

Just noticed that VLC 0.4.0 on my iBook G3 500MHz/384MB/OSX10.1.4 will 
no longer play many DivX 5.0x files... the audio is fine but the video 
won't play. Even if I set the color depth to "Thousands"

Is this performance related?
